Title: What is soul channeling?

The Oxford dictionary defines channeling as guiding or directing; a medium of communication. In this article, we are, of course, connecting it with that skill people associate with spiritual trance practices, but it is more than that. Here, we provide a definition which is a model upon which you can build your own understanding including an appreciation of soul channeling (type C below).

Contrary to popular perception, channeling is actually an in-the-body experience where the body and mind has relaxed enough to allow an influx of information, feeling, inspiration or knowing through the body, mind and emotions. This information or experience is not dependent on prior learning but is brought to awareness in the channeling experience. If the channeling is not experienced fully in the body the information is of dubious veracity: in other words, it is likely to be simply daydreaming, fantasy or "just your imagination." But each person will have similar experiences of the preconditions for channeling: there is definite feeling of relaxing of mind and body. Beyond that everyone will experience channeling based on their unique personality.

There are many different kinds of channeling.

Type A is commonly experienced and understood. In this type the person experiences intuitive knowings, insights, an instantaneous knowledge of what to do to get an effect without conscious "recipe" or prior learning, a sense of empowerment in the moment and precognition. It includes channeling other people's energies such telepathic understanding of what another is experiencing and the channeling of others' feelings of love, fear, sexual energy, or violence such as one experiences in group settings or at time of world turmoil. Type A work with the human persona and the polarities of consciousness. Channeling of Type A is normal. People do this all the time and move in and out of it regularly.

Type B implies channeling with direction. Here the individual is aware he or she is channeling and knows what they want channeling for: I want to know something, I want to heal. Here there is a definite conscious intention for the channeling as in working with animals, the devic kingdom or mineral consciousness. Visualization, spirit channeling of departed loved ones, hands on healing are included in this category. This channeling deals with frequencies close to Earth and is therefore easily accessible.
The value of channeling at the level of Type A and B is that you learn to relax and you learn to increase your spiritual self trust. It is of considerable benefit in this world of stress in which we live but it nothing like the value of Type C channeling.

Type C requires a lot of expertise in the ability to love. It is soul channeling and requires the ability of the person to open their heart and lift energies into love. It involves channeling your own soul and your soul family and reaching higher frequencies of love. Channeling soul is the ability of a person to uplift, unify and harmonize their physicality - body, mind and emotions - so they can meld with their own spirit and soul. This requires the person to work with themselves so they can increase their self love and self value to hold the power of the soul's higher frequencies. It differs from channeling the higher self in that it allows you access to a great range of "bigger picture" information relevant to your interests whereas the information from the higher self is more concerned with the immediate details of your choices and their implications.

The strength of love within a person allows the person's unique soul to have a voice so that the soul's dreams, intentions and information can manifest physically. It is the ability to manifest "heaven on earth." You can imagine the value of this capacity as you have direct guidance as to how to live your life, what is for your highest good in any situation, to have a sense of purpose and strength and knowing what steps to take one by one. You can imagine the peace that unity with soul can bring you.

In soul channeling you also have access to channeling your soul group's information, all that information which like beings have uncovered over aeons of time.

Spiritual Metamorphosis shows you how to soul channel because then you are working with the truth of who you are. All of you who choose to move into spiritual metamorphosis will eventually desire to reach this level because this is where humanity is choosing to evolve to. You will reach this level, but possibly not move on to Type D channeling.

Type D Channeling of higher frequency soul energies apart from your own. Channeling other soul energies other than one's own is the ability to unify and harmonize physicality to meld with your spirit and soul so that other soul energies can align with you physically.

This again requires an expertise in love. Like soul channeling, it requires a person to work with the higher energies and therefore the person has to work forever with the self in order to increase their own self love and self value. In this way they can love others and lift their frequencies to connect with the even higher frequencies of energy in the universe. Self love is critical here and the more harmonious channel is within his or herself and the more honouring of themselves, the easier it is to work with the power of higher frequencies and to be able to channel in a practical integrated way.

If you tried to channel other soul energies with little self love or self value then it would be difficult to do so or you would be overwhelmed with the energy. The effect would be that the information would be disjointed and unusable. It can also be damaging. It is like being in a relationship with someone who was incredibly overpowering where there was no respect or love: they would rule your life. Spirit does not do that. It is a universe of free will and the more dependent a person becomes on spirit, the more they will pull back. You must honour and uplift yourself so that you can connect in friendship with the highest energies of the love and light. Then there is a deep sense of honouring and partnership. There is no sense of less than or better than: it is an equal partnership in which your own light and theirs can co-create what it is you want for your life and the love you bring to it.

Only certain kinds of people are going to choose to be channels for higher soul energies. It is similar to a person who chooses to be a dancer: dancers are a certain breed of person, having particular temperament and capacities, because of the skills they need and the education they will undertake to develop those inherent capacities skills and to excel. The channeling other soul energies, apart from your own, is a profession and not one that everyone will want to do.

Thus we can see that the capacity of a person to channel is dependent on the ability of the person to evolve and be self aware. It depends on their ability to love and to let their love evolve, and it depends on intention. Everybody is going to be a different kind of channel and work with different kinds of channeling because of who they are. People who choose soul channeling will be powerful individuals who bring through love and knowing and a surety of purpose. So there will a sense of soul channels being a certain kind of person.

Let us explore this a little more fully.
The capacity to channel in the different arenas of information always expands and evolves. This is because there are different levels of information even within each type. However soul channeling is a prerequisite for channeling finer frequencies at each level. For example, Type A channeling is always evolving and expanding and as people recognise their ability to do this, they may have a desire to channel other soul energies but that is not going to happen until they have done soul channeling because they will need an increase in self value and self love in order to gain the power to do so. They will get to Type B where they will work with departed spirits because that does not require an incredible amount of love or passion or opening of the heart. A person can be relatively close hearted and still have the ability to channel people who have passed on or talk to the devic or mineral kingdom. However, when you work with soul channeling and then go back to Type B to talk to the animal, devic and mineral kingdom you will find it far more evolved. You are able to access a finer frequency and the love is far greater.

When you can soul channel and see your life unfolding as a manifestation of soul with ease and grace, you will find that Type A and B channeling will have evolved along with you. You may find that you want to channel in areas which previously have not had a strong call for you. For example, Suzie has found that her childhood love of and connection to animals has revived and deepened along with her ability to soul channel. This connection gives her a peace and much appreciated respite from humanity's turmoil which she could not find elsewhere. So as you develop soul channeling, you will then get a sense of what kind of channeling you want to do and whether you want to channel other soul energies or not. You will get a sense of whether this nourishes you and whether you wish to dedicate time and energy to doing that. It is a choice. It is not a closed book. It is open to everyone just as you might go to a yoga class and go on to be a teacher. Not everyone is going to choose that because teaching does not nourish or intrigue them although yoga alone does. But it is open to everyone. And beyond that, there are going to be excellent yoga teachers and mediocre yoga teachers; it is all about dedication and passion and the will to do it as a part of your life. It is all about choice.
